EEOC Enforcement Guidance on the Consideration of Arrest and Conviction Records in Employment Decisions.

In April 2012, the EEOC released updated guidance for employers using criminal background checks. They recommend Employers establish a decision matrix in their screening process to avoid having a deny all / blanket deny policy for arrests and convictions.
